OFFICE OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS |
The Office of Community Relations is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and facilitating the implementation of projects related to community relations and being a valued neighbor within the communities that ANC serves. Community Relations works successfully with representatives from various communities, organizations and neighborhoods with respect to the diverse populations and cultures served. The communities served by the College are dichotomous and consist of such groups as parents, all levels of school students, employed or underemployed people in need of job skills training, military personnel, corrections personnel, government personnel, civic, church, and social groups, and professional organizations.
The mission of the Office of Community Relations is to cultivate, maintain and enhance innovative community-based programs, networks, and partnerships that are mutually beneficial, collaborative and accessible to the diverse communities that Arkansas Northeastern College serves.
The Office of Community Relations promotes Arkansas Northeastern College as the institution that has solid partnerships with its communities by engaging them - locally, regionally, statewide, and nationally - utilizing the knowledge, creativity, and commitment of its students, faculty, staff, and alumni to support lifelong learning and a better quality of life.
