The Community Education department at Arkansas Northeastern College is a non-credit, lifelong learning program that meets the evolving needs and interests of the community.  Educational opportunities are continually developed and offered for citizens of all ages for a reasonable cost.  The course offerings change often and include a variety of topics, including personal interest, professional development, fitness & wellness, arts & entertainment, technology, hobbies, and much more.  In addition to in-person courses, we also have several that are offered online through our instructors and our Ed2Go online platform.

ADULT CLASSES

Adult classes are taught in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where teachers take great satisfaction in passing on knowledge of their subject or skill to their students.  In these non-credit courses, you take no tests, receive no grades, no degrees — only the satisfaction of pursuing a hobby, developing a skill or becoming more knowledgeable of a subject.

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

Courses for children are designed to provide fun and discovery to foster the beginnings of a love for lifelong learning.  Not only will they enjoy learning new things, but they will also get to meet other friends their age from all over the area with similar interests.

ANC TOURS

The ANC Community Education department also offers tours ranging from day trips to overnight domestic stays and even international travel.  For more information, contact the Office of Community Education at 870-563-3236.
