Dr. Christopher Heigle

Dr. Christopher Heigle is Arkansas Northeastern College's current President.  Heigle was named President in 2023.

Revis Edmonds

Historian Revis Edmonds reflects on his experiences growing up during the Cold War, providing insightful perspectives and analysis that shed light on this defining era.

Dr. Robert Certain

Dr. Robert Certain, a decorated veteran and Episcopal priest, served as a B-52 navigator in the Vietnam War, completing 100 combat missions before being shot down and captured in 1972.  After returning, he became an Air Force chaplain, retiring as a Colonel in 1999, and has since dedicated himself to supporting veterans' affairs.

Robbie Wade Certain

Robbie Wade Certain, a Blytheville, Arkansas native and Arkansas State University graduate, reflects on her life, including her marriage to Colonel Robert Certain, who was shot down and captured during the Vietnam War.  She shares the emotional challenges of waiting for his return and the impact of the Cold War and the closure of Eaker Air Force Base on her community and family.
